I hope so, I noticed that someone with a badge that was gaudy, I'm assuming the sub owner or something, was stating that they've done away with all the meme rule. If it RS gold is really happening, I'm definitely excited about it. It just promotes a feeling of happiness about here when people are having a good time, even when they're clowning super hard or whatever. I'm absolutely looking forward to better days because of this sub. Edit: I mean the mean front page of reddit, not front page of this sub. Yup! Memes are back to the menu (using the basic principles limitations of being polite and not flaming anyone). It'll be interesting to see how the community will get, I understand the memes were not as spicier as the ones out of runescape 2007 but we've got the chance to catch up.

Hopefully everything is for the better. I'd rather have a flood of memes than a flood of 99 posts. Low effort memes are significant. Someone 25 others create effort variations which may still hit gold and puts high effort. It is like market competition just with memes. Restricting it to decent attempt OC memes essentially means some sh*tty equal to some copyright idea. Low attempt memes are half of what makes enjoyable. The upvote/downvote is enough to filter out the trash for most people. I'm looking forward for the memes. This seems like a completely different stage for this sub. I do not really care about memes and they need to be permitted, but calling those memes"decent effort" is beyond me. It's bascially a 1 second (if ample ) copy-paste meme.

DTG is for the gambling things and r/destinymemes is for the funny stuff. That said, Destiny is a much more popular sport with a larger presence on reddit.
